We had a wonderful end to Term 2 with a meeting of our book group. The book was Charlotte’s Web by E.B White. This book proved to be a real hit with this P5/6 group and we all found it difficult to believe that the book is seventy years old this year! The children enjoyed discussing the variety of characters in the story and the different themes raised in the story. I was delighted to see lots of the children thumbing through the text to read aloud extracts that supported their ideas. Well done everyone!
