Our annual Neal Walsh tournament is one of the ‘most looked forward to’ events in the school calendar and this year was no exception! We had a feast of football on display all week with Armagh, Tyrone, Cavan, Fermanagh, Monaghan and Derry all battling for the Neal Walsh Cup. It was great to see so many children passionately competing and we are all very proud of all of our teams. Today’s final between Cavan and Fermanagh saw classmate against classmate, brother against brother compete for every ball and huge congratulations to Fermanagh who came out as eventual winners. Thank you to Bernie Walsh, Neal’s mother, who came along to present the trophy to winning captain Tomas Donnelly. It is great that we are able to keep Neal’s memory alive with this wonderful competition.
